DOS Arcade game from Triple Team from 1995.
Self-published
1995
Xplosive is a Bomberman clone for one to four players featuring bunnies as the protagonists. There are two primary game modes: Duel and Level Play, the former being a multiplayer match on a random playing field (with or without monsters), and the latter a single-player or cooperative experience on pre-defined levels with the objective to clear all stages of monsters. As in the original Bomberman, the player has no means of directly attacking enemies but can place timed bombs which will destroy everything in the blast radius, including weak walls, monsters and other players. Various bonuses may appear in place of destroyed walls, giving the player new abilities such as being able to place more bombs at once, give them a bigger blast radius, increase the player's movement speed and son on. In Xplosive, certain monsters are harmless to the player but will eat up all destructible walls in their patch along with any bonus items they might have held. Xplosive was originally sold as shareware, but the developers eventually made the registered game a free download.
Description by MrFlibble
Press 0 on the Num Pad to place bombs. Note that both Duel and Level Play modes start with two players by default, so don't forget to set the number of players to one to play solo games.
