* Note for DOSBox users *
This software is fully installed and configured to run in the DOSBox emulator.
You can simply drag and drop the file TECNO.BAT over the DOSBox icon to start
playing. Experienced DOSBox users may choose other methods of startup.
The software was configured and tested to work with the official DOSBox build
v0.74-3 available from www.dosbox.com. It may or may not work with any other
third-party DOSBox distributions that are available.
For playing instructions and other information, please refer to the electronic
manual (TECNO.DOC, in French) found in the TECNO directory.

* Note on the free release and open source release *
TecnoballZ was originally developed by TLK Games for Amiga in 1991 and ported
to DOS in 1992. In mid-to-late-1990s the company would include the full game
as a free compliment/bonus with shareware titles purchased from them.
In the early 2000s, a downloadable DOS version of TecnoballZ became available
from the TLK Games website, alongside demos of shareware games.
In October 2004, TLK Games released the full source code of the Linux port of
the game. They also made available the original versions for Amiga and Amiga
AGA as free downloads (please see the links below).
