CH Pro Throttle Configuration and Hints for use with Fighter Duel 1 and
 NetDuel. - 6 November, 1996

First off, the Pro Throttle DOES work with Fighter Duel. The confusion
on whether it works or not comes from the different handling of certain
keystrokes in Fighter Duel, and how the Pro Throttle sends them through
the keyboard interface (which is *very* close to how a keyboard sends
but *not* identical in all cases).

Hint No. 1: For keys which are toggles, set them as "Macros" in the Pro
Throttle. This will cause them to be sent once each time you hit them
instead of repeatedly. An example of this is the Boost key (B).

Hint No. 2: For keys which are only active when pressed, set them as
"Sent until released" in the Pro Throttle. This will cause the throttle
to continually send them as pressed while you are pressing the button.
An example of this is the Label (L) key in NetDuel.

Two example Pro Throttle configuration files are included. Our own, FD1.PTC
and FD2.PTC which is configuration file supplied by an avid Fighter Dueler.
 FD1.PTC has the following mappings:

 Button 4 - Left brake
 Button 3 - Both brakes on/off
 Button 2 - Right brake
 Button 1 - Boost

Hat 4 Up - Turbo Hat 2 Up - Chatter (ND)
 Hat 4 Down - Launch Hat 2 Down - Toggle IAS/TAS
Hat 4 Left - Save PCX Hat 2 Left - Toggle Hud
Hat 4 Right - Trim reset Hat 2 Right - Labels (ND)

Hat 1 Up - Chase view (F1) Hat 3 Up - Flaps up
Hat 1 Down - South view (F4) Hat 3 Down - Flaps down
Hat 1 Left - Down from 4,000 ft (F11) Hat 3 Left - Gear control
Hat 1 Right - Down from 30,000 ft (F12) Hat 3 Right - Hook control

Button 1 is on the rear of the unit, buttons 2-4 are on the front going
 from right to left.

Hat 4 is on the front of the unit, hats 1-3 are on the rear of the unit
with 1 in the middle position, 2 on top, 3 on bottom. Up/Down presses
are relative to reality. Hat 4-Left press pushes it towards the buttons
and Right pushes it away. For hats 1-3 Left pushes go in the direction
of Button 1 and Right pushes them away.

Sorry if this is a little confusing, but this IS how they are identifies
by the CH Pro Throttle setup utility. Unfortunately there is no diagram
included with the Pro Throttle (at least with my unit) so it's not very
 clear.
