DOS Puzzle game from Thomas Büngener, David Lehmeyer from 1992.
Self-published
1992
Bubble Blobb is an arcade game somewhat similar to Breakout: the main objective is to clear the playing field of bricks/blocks by breaking them with a ball, however here the player controls the ball directly instead of using a paddle. Another new rule is that the ball can only break bricks of the matching colour, but you can change the ball's colour by bumping it into special blocks present on the field. The goal of each level is to reach the exit while breaking as many blocks as possible and scoring as many points as you can. This is complicated in many levels by the presence of hazardous blocks that must be avoided. Other special blocks contain bonuses like extra lives. The shareware version of Bubble Blobb prompts you to enter a code at the start, similar to copy protection in commercial games. This is for the registered users, and simply pressing Enter twice will start the shareware game.
