Title: Ramen Quest
Genre: Puzzle, Contest, Adventure
Author: Zephyr
Company: Burger Digital
About:
Ramen Quest was created for the 2020 Oktrollberfest, organized by WiL and Kkairos and WiL.
I created the image that became the title screen last year, but I had no plans for the project itself. When Oktrollberfest began I started creating little puzzles and then realized they could be pulled into a coherent narrative about an apprentice learning from a trolly master. Eventually I realized this would be a good way to use the Ramen Quest idea and thus Ramen Quest was born.
NOTE: If the "Marrow Bone" puzzle is not working out but you think you know the solution, try reloading your save and trying again or starting the game on that board.
(Some light spoilers ahead)
Thanks to:
WiL and KKairos for organizing Oktrollberfest, without whom this game wouldn't exist.
People in the discord of ZZT for teaching me a lot of the tricks used here, especially regarding bombs.
Flimsy Parkins, whose brilliant puzzles continue to inspire me (most obviously seen in the "slabs of beef" star puzzle).
Asie, for Zima.
Dr. Dos and everyone else who has helped ZZT a fun and thriving community in 2020.
My wife, for being an artistic consultant and supporting my weird hobby.
This section tracks other objects or external resources.
The external resources, such as tarballs or Git repositories, are then available as part of the object. Their files can be considered local to the object and usable in scripts or as part of a build process.
For resources that are only to be used as part of the build or runtime of the object, it is best to describe those local to those sections.
