DOS Shooter game from Eclipse Software from 1996.
Epic MegaGames
1996
Tyrian is possibly one of the best shoot-'em-ups to grace the PC platform, at leas in the nineties. It offers high quality visuals, excellent soundtrack, challenging gameplay and nearly endless replay value thanks to the different customisations, gameplay modes and secret bonuses. The game was originally sold as shareware by Epic MegaGames, then re-released as Tyrian 2000 in 1999. Eventually, the authors made the full game free, and released the source code. Thanks to this, Tyrian can be now played directly on Windows and other platforms without the need to resort to DOSBox.

For resources that are only to be used as part of the build or runtime of the object, it is best to describe those local to those sections.
This section tracks information useful to describing how to run this object.
