War Diary is a real-time strategy game set in the late 16 century, during the Japanese invasion of Korea. As a commander of Korean forces, the player must help defend their land and repel the Japanese invaders. War Diary shares many similarities with WarCraft: Orcs & Humans, but also has unique features that set it apart from other games in the genre. For example, there is a day/night cycle and weather effects like rain and lightning. The game places a greater emphasis on production and economy management, with the necessity to trade for gold and raw materials, and manufacture weapons and equipment for the soldiers.
