DOS Arcade game from Masayoshi Ueda -Cheez- from 1995.
Self-published
1995
BAP!!! (which stands for Ball And Paddle) is a simple Breakout clone: destroy all bricks with a ball that is controlled indirectly with a paddle at the bottom, making sure the ball does not fall off the screen. There are no bonuses, and not even any kind of score is tallied for the player. Although BAP!!! is not as stylish as the similarly Spartan Arkanoid (Eclipse Goodies), it is way more forgiving. For one, you can adjust the ball speed in the menu, and starting with level three the game gives passwords so that a playing session may be resumed at any time. There is a total of 30 levels in the game. BAP!!! was developed and released as freeware by the author Masayoshi Ueda.
