DOS Racing game from Michael Davies from 2000.

Maximum Overdrive is a top-down track racing game with weapons, similar to Death Rally. It allows to race against AI opponents, or between up to four human players in split-screen mode on the same computer. The development was apparently never completed, which is a shame because the game has very nice looking animations and visual effects, and plays very smoothly. In the latest available version, there is only one track, although a track editor is also included. Cars are assigned to players randomly, while random powerups appear on the track during the race.
Description by MrFlibble
To play this game in DOSBox, you'll need the modified CWSDPMI.EXE (already included in mxov-box.zip).
This section tracks other objects or external resources.
The external resources, such as tarballs or Git repositories, are then available as part of the object. Their files can be considered local to the object and usable in scripts or as part of a build process.
For resources that are only to be used as part of the build or runtime of the object, it is best to describe those local to those sections.
