587 SQUADRON
============
A short(ish), intense action game developed in ZZT for the GBA Jam 2021. asie ported it to the GBA using OpenZoo/C++.
The port to GBA is called 587 Squadron Advance (hah!) and is included in this zip. The GBA ROM has been tested on real hardware. Otherwise, I recommend playing it on mGBA (https://mgba.io).
At some level, this game is a demake of Zone 66 infused with Commando comics and 633 Squadron.
The game may be updated to add some things I dropped for the GBA version due to time constraints: definitely hard mode and a secret final boss, and maybe other stuff. I may tweak some of the final levels as they suffered a bit from 'I-gotta-finish-this-game' syndrome.
Thanks to Jeremy Kaufmann and ConSiGno for beta testing on very short notice! Special thanks to asie for getting me to finish this game and breaking the demo curse ^_^/
