Title: NC - The conveniently misplaced last boss fight
Author: Zanno
Genre: Action?
These are the two encounters with Nothing Constructive's (for lack of a better term) arch-hero, Doom the Communist, my first and last ZZT series that I shall never complete. I was sorting through old files on my computer and I came across the boards that contained the coding to the two boss fights aginst Doom, so rather than trash them, I figured you lot could remotely appreciate them. The first boss fight isn't anything too terribly spectacular, meanwhile, I would say that the second and intended final battle of the game is quite possibly the most sadistic, cunning, yet still remotely "fair" enemy AI in existence.
If I recall correctly (I probably don't), a toned down version of it appeared in my 24hozzt game. A couple other cute features consist of detaching Zanno's hp from the in-game health meter while maintaining him as the player, meaning that ?healthing this fight won't work. Sorry. I was big on cheat protection.
Oh, Doom teleports. A lot. You will like it and hate it at the same time.
I know it's barely 10kb, but I used to work here :(
This section tracks other objects or external resources.
The external resources, such as tarballs or Git repositories, are then available as part of the object. Their files can be considered local to the object and usable in scripts or as part of a build process.
For resources that are only to be used as part of the build or runtime of the object, it is best to describe those local to those sections.
