Full Metal Jacket is a top-down 360 degree shooter rather similar to Seek & Destroy but with a futuristic theme. You control a mecha robot and carry out solo missions in a global war of the future. Before each mission, the player needs to allocate credits on the necessary equipment, including mounted guns and ammo for them, missile launchers and a variety of bombs to be used against moving targets and installations. Accordingly, the missions vary from simply staying alive to the destruction of various enemy targets or even entire bases. During play, the onboard radar provides advance warning of incoming enemy robots, allowing the player to either avoid contact or engage them.
